Fusion-io Expands Software Sales Channel with New VAR Program
Exclusive Program Adds Extensive Support for VARs Integrating Fusion-io Software and OEM Hardware to Create Custom Solutions & Appliances for Enterprise Customers
Fusion-io has announced its new Value Added Reseller program, an extension of its Technical Alliance Program. Designed to assist Value Added Resellers (VARs) and other strategic partners integrating Fusion-io products into servers from its strategic OEM partners, the new program adds another expert channel to support Fusion's expanding software sales.
"As Fusion-io continues to grow, the VAR channel is crucial for managing implementation and deployment of Fusion Powered software solutions," said Jim Dawson, Fusion-io Executive Vice President of Worldwide Sales. "With Fusion's expanding focus on software products, this new program will help VARs grow their business as they help customers integrate Fusion-io and OEM solutions to create all new infrastructures and turnkey appliances to accelerate enterprise applications, databases, cloud [super]computing and virtualization."
The new Value Added Reseller program assists VARs integrating Fusion-io software with ioMemory-based accelerator products and servers from the industry's leading server OEMs, which include global solutions providers HP, Dell, IBM and others. VARs including Applied Computer Solutions (ACS), Sirius Computer Solutions, ONX Enterprise Solutions, Ergonomic Group, Worldwide Technology, Valcom and more have already joined the Value Added Reseller program. Fusion-io plans to expand this program over the next couple of quarters, adding members with specializations in shared storage infrastructure, enterprise applications, database optimization, virtualization, and server installations, as well as SNIA qualified storage professionals.
"We have found Fusion's solutions to be a game changer in the way we can design scalable enterprise solutions, so we're excited to join the new Value Added Reseller program and begin offering Fusion-io software to our customers to accelerate their applications," said John Thayer, Director of Sales for Open Systems Technologies, Inc. "Fusion-io creates reliable products that our customers know they can depend on. The new Value Added Reseller program will give us even more access to Fusion's knowledge base and resources so we can continue to solve our customers' challenges with innovative technology from Fusion-io and its OEM partners."
Key benefits of the new Value Added Reseller program include expanded access to hardware and software only available through this new program, as well as, education resources, marketing assets and special incentives to help members continue to grow their business with Fusion-io solutions.
