NEC Solutions America today outlined its presence at the C3 Corporate & Channel Computing EXPO 2005 June 28 - 30, 2005, at the Jacob K. Javits Center in New York City. NEC Solutions America President and CEO Tadao Kondo will deliver the show's keynote address on day one focused on "The Real Supercomputing Race." The address, which is scheduled for June 28 at 11:30 a.m., will center on how supercomputing technology can be used to improve the welfare of society. NEC's Earth Simulator, currently in use by the Japanese government, is among the world's fastest supercomputers. NEC will maintain a significant presence on the show floor, as well, with its 1,500-square-foot booth highlighting a wide range of solutions for high-end enterprises, financial services, retail, healthcare, public safety, manufacturing and digital cinema applications. NEC is also hosting a contest to win a new 23" NEC MultiSync LCD2335WXM, a wide-format LCD monitor ideal for both computing and video applications. Retail value of the display is $1149.99 and entrant guidelines are available in registrant bags, as well as at Booth 3319. In addition to Mr. Kondo's keynote address, Mike Mitsch, director of alliances, NEC Solutions America, will speak on a panel titled, "Technology for Competitive Advantage: How Leaders Set the Right Priorities and Spend Smart." The panel, which will be hosted by Fast Company magazine, will explore the ways companies use technology to establish market leadership, as well as the "new rules" governing the relationship between technology buyers and technology vendors. The panel is scheduled for June 28, 2:30 - 3:45 p.m.
