MobilePro Corp Forms Strategic Alliance With Massively Parallel Technologies
MobilePro Corp. announced that it has formed a strategic alliance with Massively Parallel Technologies, Inc. (MPT), a privately owned corporation located in Louisville, Colorado. Under the alliance, MPT will utilize the bandwidth provisioning capability of MOBL in connection with MPT's high performance computer cluster platforms. MobilePro will become a reseller of the MPT platform. Jay Wright, MobilePro president and CEO, said, "We are pleased to be working with MPT to continue broadening our suite of services that we offer to our ISP customers and to jointly target, through our alliance with Global Defense Corporation and other means, the large and growing need for high performance computing and processing systems. Given MPT's relationships with the key leaders in providing high performance computing, including geospatial and seismic processing, we are confident that this will be a rewarding relationship. We also will seek to opportunistically provision bandwidth for MPT and its customers through our Nationwide Internet subsidiary."
Scott Smith, Massively Parallel Technologies CEO who is unrelated to MobilePro's prior executive of the same name, said, "We are excited to be working with Jay and his team to extend the reach of MPT within the U.S. and into the government sector. Our products and services should integrate well into a wide range of government divisions and we look forward to targeting several of the corporate clients of MobilePro's Nationwide Internet subsidiary. The easy integration of our products and services over their platform makes this relationship a very practical solution."
