Compass-EOS appoints Matt Bross CEO
Communications Veteran to Drive Transformation of Compass-EOS into a Global Market Leader
Compass-EOS has announced the appointment of Matthew Bross as its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Bross will replace Gadi Bahat, who had expressed his wish to pursue new challenges.
Bross brings to Compass-EOS his global experience as a leader and executive team member at Huawei, British Telecom and Williams Communications. In each of these roles, Bross drove the innovation, investment and business strategies across multiple technologies and business domains including carrier, enterprise, devices, applications and services.
“I’m excited and honored to lead such an exceptionally talented group of people,” Bross said. “Gadi developed a strong team and a great business platform to grow from. The Compass-EOS product line − which is commercially available right now − and its core technology, are game-changing routers that address the market needs for additional bandwidth. The Compass-EOS r10004 is built upon a flexible silicon photonics architecture, the world’s first such shipping technology, and will greatly benefit our customers and their ability to deliver services faster, cheaper and far more efficiently.”
Bross will manage the company from its US and Israel offices.
Aaron Mankovski, a board member at Compass-EOS added, “The fact that Compass was able to attract and recruit a globally recognized leader such as Mr. Bross, is strong validation of its value proposition and future. On behalf of the entire Board, we welcome Matt to Compass-EOS and we look forward to supporting him as he executes our goal to establish a strong customer-focused global leadership team and grow the Compass-EOS business across multiple markets. The Board would like to thank Gadi for his contribution to successfully leading Compass to its market penetration stage.”
Matt will also assume the role of Chairman of the Board, replacing Mr. Haim Shani, who will remain as a board member of Compass-EOS, as he begins managing his newly established technology private equity fund.
