The HyperTransport Consortium will present a live webcast discussing “High Performance Computing with HyperTransport.” On Demand Webcast Available Tuesday, November 8, at 11:00 a.m. PT. -- The HyperTransport Consortium will present a live webcast discussing “High Performance Computing with HyperTransport.” The High Performance Computing (HPC) market is one of the market sectors that fully reaps the benefits of Hyper-Transport technology – a well established, widely adopted, high-performance, scalable interconnect standard. HyperTransport technology is particularly well suited to serve the HPC market by virtue of its low latency, high bandwidth and direct processor integration, such as in the case of AMD's Opteron – a latest generation multi-core processor family widely used in massive multi-processing (MMP) supercomputers and scalable system clusters.
