Univa Grid Technology Pioneers to Present at Multiple Industry Conferences
Univa Corporation, the leading provider of commercial software and professional services for open source Globus software, will be presenting at several open source software and grid events this quarter. Steve Tuecke, Univa CEO and co-founder, will be discussing the benefits of using open source, standards-based grid infrastructure software to support the next-generation data center. Univa's executive team includes the industry's preeminent grid authorities, who are the creators of the Globus Toolkit. Globus is at the center of growth in a market estimated to exceed $5 billion by 2008, according to Insight Research Corporation. In 2004, Tuecke united with Dr. Ian Foster and Dr. Carl Kesselman to create Univa, which provides professional services and enterprise enhancements to Globus.
