President’s Information Technology Advisory Committee Meeting

The President’s Information Technology Advisory Committee (PITAC) will meet on Tuesday, April 13. The meeting will be held from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm in the Washington Ballroom of the Hotel Washington, 15th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, Washington, DC. This PITAC meeting will focus on the U.S. Government investment in networking and information technology research and development with some specific applications. In the morning, there will be a report by the PITAC Health and IT Subcommittee on its draft findings and recommendations. The afternoon session will focus on Cyber Security Subcommittee issues. The Committee will hear presentations by Mr. Amit Yoran, Department of Homeland Security (confirmed); Dr. Carl Landwehr, National Science Foundation (confirmed); Dr. David Clark, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (confirmed); Dr. Anthony Tether, Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (confirmed); and Dr. Simon Szykman, Department of Homeland Security (confirmed).
