CACI Awarded $128 Million in Contracts With National Security Clients
ARLINGTON, Va. -- CACI International Inc (NYSE:CAI) announced today that it has won approximately $128 million in new contracts with national security clients in the federal government. The awards call for CACI to provide managed network services, information assurance, systems engineering, and financial management support, among other solutions. All the contracts were awarded in CACI's first fiscal quarter, ending September 30, 2003. The significant increase in the number and value of these awards confirms CACI's continued successful expansion of its core offerings in the areas of vital national security support. Representative work includes a network services contract under which CACI will operate and maintain network operations centers and wide area networks. The company will ensure system reliability and availability through regular maintenance and proactive management to prevent bottlenecks and service outages. On another contract, for information assurance, the company will focus on supporting a public key infrastructure (PKI) help desk, supporting legacy PKI capabilities and helping to migrate to a newer, more powerful service.
Two new systems engineering contracts were added in the first quarter for CACI to support signals intelligence (SIGINT) modernization efforts. These include delivering project management services and life-cycle configuration support to ensure SIGINT technologies are developed efficiently and in a secure and controlled environment. Under a financial management support award, CACI will apply its expertise in financial processes to help the client meet federal goals and regulations for financial management and reporting.
"CACI continues to focus our core strengths on providing innovative, timely, and effective solutions for the federal government," said Ken Johnson, CACI's President of U.S. Operations, "We are well positioned to help our clients meet mission-critical goals for streamlined operations and the enhanced collection, protection, and dissemination of critical security information."
Dr. J.P. (Jack) London, CACI Chairman, President, and CEO, said, "CACI is committed to supporting America's national security community, and these contract awards demonstrate our support at a very high level. These wins continue CACI's business growth and increase our ability to support national security, homeland defense, and intelligence requirements."
