University of Alaska – Fairbanks Hosts Annual ESCC/Internet2 Summer Joint Techs, July 10-14, 2011
Just Two Weeks Left To Register for the Premier Technical Conference That Presents Latest Research in Advanced Internet Technologies
In just over two weeks, University of Alaska – Fairbanks will host some of the world’s leading Internet engineers for the Summer 2011 Joint Techs meeting held from July 10-14, 2011. There is still time to register!
Since 1998, the Joint Techs conference series, co-sponsored by the Department of Energy’s ESnet Site Coordinating Committee (ESCC) and Internet2, brings together networking experts from research institutions around the world for four days of in-depth discussions, workshops, tutorials, demonstrations and presentations. The conference addresses the most pressing challenges facing research and education networks, which serve the vast bandwidth needs of colleges and universities worldwide.
The Summer 2011 Joint Techs track session agenda will focus on three themes:
In addition to the track sessions, tutorials are offered to provide more comprehensive hands-on training in areas of interest. There are three tutorials offered on July 10, 2011 including:
