Koscom Leverages IPC's Financial Markets Network to Enhance the Access of Foreign Firms in the Korean Market
IPC Systems, announced that Koscom, a leader in global financial IT solutions, has selected two of IPC's Financial Markets Network offerings, the Connexus Financial Extranet service and the Direct Connect data service, to update their Busan facility's capabilities to fulfill the mission critical requirements of their international clients in the Korean financial industry.
Leveraging IPC's Connexus, Koscom's international clients can connect to member brokers and market data to make profitable trading decisions, as well as the ability to connect to a network that hosts a vast community of capital markets participants across virtually every trading destination in the world.
Koscom has also leveraged IPC's new cable path from Tokyo, enabling global electronic trading clients to connect to Koscom's Busan facility and its derivatives engine without going via Seoul. Via Direct Connect, IPC has enabled foreign firms using Koscom's Busan facility rapid access to key global financial market participants including buy-side firms, liquidity venues, market data providers, independent software vendors and data centers, extended their market reach, enhanced their communications capabilities, increased their productivity and reduced their administrative expenses.
