Simena has announced a record growth in 2010 and closed the year with more than 175% revenue growth and improved profit margins.
"We’re extremely proud and excited about our successful performance in 2010. We have added many key customers in our long list, and our PFS1524 Packet Flow Switch has become a widely deployed aggregation switch in financial market. To meet growing demand we are increasing our resources to ensure Simena will be well positioned as the market for our products continues to grow,” said Sezen Uysal, President of Simena.
Some highlights of the past year include:
- Several software releases for Simena's PFS1524, a highly sophisticated network monitoring and aggregation switch. PFS1524, which has the industry's lowest fixed latency and wire speed performance among all 24 10GE ports, is used to aggregate or distribute 10GE monitoring traffic.
- Numerous new PFS1524 wins. PFS1524 was chosen by major international investment firms in NY and London as well as by one of the world's largest futures and options exchange firms in US.
- Expanded global sales and support with numerous distributors and resellers located in Europe, and Asia. Simena products are now available to purchase in 30 countries around the world.
- With the tremendous growth, was still able to maintain the same high level of customer support by quickly reacting to the growing customer needs for additional features and functionality.
