Los Angeles Department of Water & Power Selects Oracle
Los Angeles Department of Water & Power will replace its legacy customer information system (CIS) with Oracle.
LADWP chose Oracle to replace antiquated systems and consolidate processes to support critical business strategies. The Oracle implementation will enhance customer service, billing processes, field services and meter data management and support smart grid initiatives.
The new system will be one of many LADWP initiatives to provide better service to its customers – the residents and businesses in Los Angeles – at the lowest possible cost.
The leading utility will deploy Oracle’s common, integrated operational platform across the enterprise, specifically: Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing, Oracle Utilities Meter Data Management, Oracle Utilities Mobile Workforce Management, Oracle Business Intelligence for Utilities and Oracle Database.
