Technical Communities and BlueArc Sign Government Services Partnership
Technical Communities has announced a new government services partnership agreement with BlueArc Corporation, a leader in high-performance network storage at any scale.
The agreement authorizes Technical Communities to distribute the BlueArc Titan 3000 series and the Mercury 50 and 100 storage platforms. BlueArc's Titan and Mercury Server product families leverage an advanced file system that scales both performance and capacity well beyond conventional PC or processor-based servers. With its ability to virtualize up to 16 petabytes in a single namespace of usable, tiered storage, BlueArc servers can scale with growing data requirements and provide a competitive advantage for business processes by consolidating applications while ensuring optimal performance.
"Through customer-focused business practices, Technical Communities has raised the bar by developing a deep understanding of the pain points and goals of customers in the federal government sector," said Bridget Warwick, senior vice president of marketing, BlueArc. "We're looking forward to working closely with Technical Communities to extend the value of BlueArc solutions for their customers."
"Technical Communities is excited to offer the federal government high performance network storage systems from BlueArc," said Peter Ostrow, president and CEO of Technical Communities. "We will continue to optimize the GSA buying and selling experience for organizations such as BlueArc."
BlueArc products are under General Services Administration (GSA) Multiple Award Schedules (MAS) managed by Technical Communities, which will provide content, transaction, marketing, sales support, and reporting services around them.
