NextIO to Showcase v-Series Products at SC10
NextIO has announced that the company will have several demonstrations on display for the HPC, storage and virtualization markets, including the first public demonstration of the now commercially-available NVIDIA 2070 in a 1U platform at SC10 in New Orleans, November 15-18, Booth #1156.
NextIO's vCORE product family offers NVIDIA's record-setting GPUs for both compute-intensive and data visualization requirements. vCORE Express enhances NextIO's GPU consolidation product portfolio by introducing a simple yet extremely powerful solution for workstation and small cluster compute applications. vCORE Express is designed especially for parallel computing applications using NVIDIA Tesla 20-Series GPUs in cluster and datacenter deployments. With four massively parallel CUDA-enabled GPUs in a 1U system, vCORE Express brings economies of scale to GPU customers by delivering the same performance of a traditional CPU-based cluster -- all at 10 percent of the cost and five percent of the power consumption.
NextIO will also demonstrate the company's v-Series suite of products, including next generation vCORE technology and vSTOR S200. NextIO's vSTOR S200 offers double the capacity and double the performance with 12 server connects and over 20 terabytes of storage -- providing the highest SSD flash performance for applications requiring high-speed storage transactions (IOPs) or high-bandwidth at the lowest cost.
At SC10, NextIO is pleased to announce that Earl Dodd, president and CEO of Rocky Mountain Supercomputing Centers (RMSC), Inc., will lead a session on how his organization has utilized NextIO's new and innovative approach to consolidating and managing pools of GPU resources. Details of the session are as follows:
The GPU Roundup: The Benefits of Consolidating, Centralizing and Managing Your GPU Resources

"At SC10, we'll continue to highlight the fact that NextIO is the industry leader in bringing GPU consolidation appliances along with innovative HPC and storage solutions to market," said Mike Lance, director of marketing, NextIO. "In addition to featuring many exciting demonstrations for attendees, we will be announcing a new world record IOP benchmark for tier zero appliances based on our vSTOR technology. We look forward to sharing this data with the industry during the show."
