ATTO Technology to Showcase High-Performance Storage Connectivity at SNW 2010
ATTO Technology will be showcasing its line of storage connectivity products at Storage Networking World in Dallas, Texas October 11 through October 14. The show is presented by Computerworld and the Storage Networking Association (SNIA). Located in booth A10 at the Gaylord Texan Hotel, ATTO will be featuring Celerity 8Gb/s Fibre Channel Host Bus Adapters, ExpressSAS 6Gb/s SAS/SATA Host Bus Adapters and RAID adapters, iSCSI and Fibre Channel Bridge products and FastFrame™ 10GbE Network Adapter.
“ATTO Technology has been an active supporter of SNIA for nearly a decade,” said Wayne Arvidson, senior director of sales and marketing. “We find SNW to be an outstanding opportunity to show how ATTO’s contributions are driving progress in the storage community.”
Throughout the show, ATTO will be displaying their wide range of high-performance connectivity solutions and demonstrating how their products help lower overall data center operation costs through patented technology that combines superior execution and low power consumption.
ATTO’s host bus and RAID adapters and bridge solutions offer the highest performance available in data throughput regardless of software applications that can affect overall data transfer speeds commonly found in data centers. In addition, ATTO RAID adapters incorporate two unique features found only in ATTO products that aid in lowering costs in two distinct ways.
DriveAssureTM technology helps reduce management time by eliminating the need to replace storage drives prematurely while CacheAssureTM technology protects cached information without batteries. Overall, ATTO products use up to 40 percent less power than their competitors resulting in lower cooling requirements and overall costs.
Boasting interoperability with medium to enterprise-class storage vendors, ATTO provides high-availability workstation and server connectivity to cloud/virtual storage systems. MultiPath Director, available with Celerity 8Gb/s Fibre Channel HBAs, allows for maximum uptime with multiple redundant connections and load balancing to storage– many users can collaborate on projects through numerous high-availability access points. ATTO also offers multiple OS support with drivers for Mac, Windows, Linux and VMware – the only storage connectivity provider to cover the most widely used systems in IT environments.
“Our products are designed to meet the challenges users face in the IT industry,” said Arvidson. “We are looking forward to helping them understand why ATTO is known as the power behind the storage.”
