DataCore Software, today announced a partnership with the Utah Education Network through its association with the University of Utah. The Utah Education Network is leveraging DataCore's virtualization and management software to provide a common set of storage services as part of their mission to deliver high quality educational services, regardless of location or time, through seamless, technology rich networks linking schools, colleges, universities, libraries, world-wide information networks, businesses, and homes. "Given the diverse nature of the storage infrastructures deployed throughout our state as well as the exponential growth in data, voice, and video within our network, we needed a flexible and resilient storage solution," explains Mike Petersen, executive directory for UEN on their decision to select DataCore SANsymphony.
