Company Makes Capital Investments and Builds Engineering Team to Accommodate Growing Market Demand for More Comprehensive Data Center and Technology Support Services -- n|Frame, one of Indiana's largest data center and workplace recovery service providers, today announced plans to invest $4 million in the continued expansion of its growing technology empire. This announcement comes after a period of unprecedented financial performance where n|Frame finished its second quarter breaking all historical records in top line revenue, bottom line profitability and new customer acquisitions. In order to meet exponentially growing market demand and solidify its position as the state's largest, best financed and most competent business continuity service provider, n|Frame plans to make both capital investments in its infrastructure as well as build its leadership and engineering teams with additional experienced and certified professionals. "This business is extremely capital intensive, takes big-picture vision and requires a significant financial commitment to continuously deliver the depth and breadth of technology services that Indiana's growing businesses need," said Robert J. Alcorn, chief operating officer of n|Frame, Inc. "We have been strategically building the business over the last five years to continually meet and exceed long-term market demand. To accomplish this, we make regular, ongoing investments in our infrastructure, processes and people. We understand that our investment today, fuels opportunities for many years to come." n|Frame's upcoming capital investments will include the build-out of additional data center space to accommodate blade servers, the market's newest high-performing enterprise servers. Because these servers have double the processing and storage capacity as traditional servers, they utilize twice as much power and generate twice as much heat. n|Frame is actively addressing these logistical issues by installing nearly 200 new server cabinets; purchasing a new, state-of-the-art high density Liebert cooling system; integrating a new, separate 3,000-amp power feed; and purchasing new IBM, Hewlett Packard or Dell blade servers. According to analysts at IDC, high- performance computing will outpace today's standard computing environments by more than twelve percent annually over the next five years. In addition to building out its data center facility, n|Frame is investing in its leadership and engineering teams. The company recently promoted Eric Miller to vice president of sales and is aggressively adding to its sales team to keep pace with market demand for its managed technology services. n|Frame has also significantly upgraded its network operations center (NOC) by adding several qualified engineers to troubleshoot technology issues 24/7. This level of expertise in a NOC is unprecedented in an industry that usually staffs this function with hourly workers, rather than certified technology professionals. n|Frame is also doubling its technology leadership team with plans to hire nearly a dozen new certified engineers. These professionals will enable n|Frame to more proactively support its clients' sophisticated computing environments and comprehensive disaster recovery plans. "The market continues to respond with a voracious appetite to each new technology support service we introduce. We started with business-class Internet connectivity and a data center that offers climate, security and power-controlled space for businesses to house their corporate servers. Since then, we have built upon this foundation to introduce fully-managed technology solutions, one of Indiana's largest, workplace recovery centers and access to a fleet of mobile disaster recovery units. The market continues to demonstrate a desire to outsource core technology services and a growing need for operational back-up options. For five years, n|Frame has risen to each new market challenge with the facilities, operational procedures, equipment and expert staff to meet and anticipate the next generation of technology and business needs," commented Alcorn.
