Kaminario has announced that its vice president of engineering, Shachar Fienblit, will speak at Wall Street Technology Association's (WSTA) upcoming event entitled "Leveraging Hot Technologies." The event will take place on Sept. 29, 2010, in New York City at The Westin New York at Times Square.
Fienblit's talk will explore the challenges that financial institutions face when employees are unable to quickly access critical applications and customer information from corporate storage infrastructures. He will cover how the latest high-performance storage technology can help overcome I/O bottlenecks to speed application performance; optimize mission critical operations, such as risk management; and, ultimately, improve customer service. Fienblit will focus specifically on storage solutions that leverage dynamic random access memory (DRAM) solid state drive (SSD) and hard disk drive (HDD) components for optimal storage performance, availability and scalability.
WSTA's Leveraging Hot Technologies event showcases leading technologies that have gained widespread adoption on Wall Street during the past year and are most relevant for its member firms. For details or to register, visit WSTA's events Web page.
Kaminario will also be an exhibitor at the 2010 High Performance Computing Financial Markets show and conference at the Roosevelt Hotel in New York City on Sept. 20, 2010. This show will focus on technologies that speed financial applications while lowering IT costs.
