(NASDAQ:ANSS) , a global innovator of simulation software and technologies designed to optimize product development processes, today announced that EDS PLM Solutions named ANSYS DesignSpace(R) "Certified Select" for Solid Edge(R) Version 14. DesignSpace, ANSYS' leading simulation software package, was recognized for its interoperability and integration with Solid Edge, a leading 3-D computer-aided design (CAD) software system. DesignSpace and Solid Edge have been integrated to provide complete solutions for creating, capturing and sharing digital product knowledge.
