CACI International announced that it has been awarded a $31 million task order contract to provide simulation and training solutions to the U.S. Army Reserve Command on the Mission Command Training Support (MCTS) program. The award is for three years (one base and two option years) and was issued against the OPTARSS II (Operations, Planning, Training and Resource Support Services) contract vehicle. This new work strengthens CACI's business in the training and operations arena as well as its presence in its C4ISR (command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance) market.
The U.S. Army Reserve Command controls and supports all Army Reserve troop units in the continental United States and prepares them for mobilization and deployment. For the MCTS program, CACI will help integrate live, virtual, and constructive simulations with Army Mission Command systems, giving commanders a better situational understanding of unit activities and capabilities in theater. CACI is providing pre- and post-mobilization training support that includes developing scenarios for battle simulations and integrating these scenarios with the Reserve Command's digital systems, networks, and infrastructure.
