A fully configured Cray SV1 supercomputer was released today for sale by UK sales agency AssetPoint www.assetpoint.co.uk . The system, previously used by an un-disclosed company for crash test simulation, is one of the first SV1 systems to be remarketed out of Europe. AssetPoint senior partner Richard Barker commented, “This represents a rare opportunity to acquire high-end Cray processing capacity at a 'bargain' price.
