Internet2 Community Celebrates its 10-year Anniversary

Internet2 to Netcast Many Sessions for Worldwide Viewing: Internet2's annual Fall Member Meeting brings the future of the Internet to Chicago this December 4-7, 2006 as the organization and its member community celebrate ten years of next-generation Internet discovery. With participants representing more than 300 research universities, leading corporations, international partners and government entities, Internet2's 2006 Member Meeting provides a glimpse into the development of future Internet technologies. The conference will include a wide variety of sessions including presentations on the new high-performance Internet2 network, advances in middleware, new optical networking technologies, grid computing, as well as advanced applications in telemedicine, arts and humanities, K-12 educational programs, distance-learning, among many others.
