Lancope has announced that it will co-present with Cisco on harnessing the power of NetFlow in the Catalyst 6500 Series Switch at the Cisco Live conference. The conference will run from July 10-14 in Las Vegas, and the presentation will take place throughout the show at the Cisco Catalyst Switching Innovations Booth #711. By utilizing Lancope's StealthWatch monitoring capabilities alongside Cisco infrastructure, organizations can obtain unprecedented levels of network visibility, performance and security.
"Lancope is a true pioneer when it comes to NetFlow collection and analysis," said Mike Potts, president and CEO of Lancope. "For years, we have been helping companies get the most out of their Cisco infrastructure by fully capturing and analyzing valuable flow data from existing routers and switches. We are delighted to collaborate with Cisco at Cisco Live in educating users on how to benefit from NetFlow support in the 6500 Series for vastly improved network and security operations."
Cisco continues to add increasingly sophisticated levels of NetFlow support to its network devices. During the presentation, experts from Lancope and Cisco will discuss how organizations can effectively leverage this increased support to transform their networks. In order to take advantage of this innovation, customers need a flow collector that can effectively capture and analyze large volumes of data to deliver actionable network intelligence. Lancope's StealthWatch System features the high levels of scalability and in-depth analysis capabilities required to meet this need.
"From edge to access, Cisco has a NetFlow-capable device in every corner of the network," said Adam Powers, CTO of Lancope. "With enterprise networks growing more and more complex every day, now is the time for all organizations to take full advantage of flow data to maintain effective insight and control over their networks. NetFlow and StealthWatch enable IT administrators to safe guard network security and performance even in the midst of trends and innovations such as IT consumerization, user mobility, cloud computing, live telepresence and streaming video."
Lancope's StealthWatch fills in the gaps between other network and security technologies to provide faster troubleshooting and more secure, high-performance networks across physical and virtual environments. By collecting and analyzing flow data from existing devices, the system eliminates blind spots, cuts network and security management costs and dramatically reduces the time from problem onset to resolution. StealthWatch uncovers not only the sophisticated, zero-day attacks that bypass perimeter defenses, but also internal threats such as unauthorized access, device misconfigurations, policy violations and data leakage.
In addition to presenting with Cisco on how organizations can benefit from NetFlow support in the 6500 Series, Lancope will also demonstrate the full capabilities of its StealthWatch System at Booth #1751. At the Lancope booth, attendees will be able to see how StealthWatch can collect and analyze flow data from a wide variety of Cisco devices including the Catalyst 3000, 4000 and 6000 Series, as well as the ASA 5500 Series. StealthWatch will also be monitoring and analyzing all show floor traffic for the conference.
