Supertex introduced HV2605, HV2705 and HV2706, sixteen channel analog switch ICs with HVCMOS technology for high performance in applications that use low voltage logic signals to control high voltage switching, such as in medical ultrasound diagnostic imaging and non-destructive testing and evaluation. HV2705 incorporates built-in bleed resistors that minimize noise and reduce capacitive coupling. HV2706 also features bleed resistors and has a different pin configuration than HV2705.
The ICs feature operating voltage up to 200V, which enables deeper body tissue imaging capability in ultrasound applications. Low quiescent power dissipation of -10uA ensures highly efficient operation and 22 ohm switch resistance minimizes signal attenuation, resulting in clearer images.
"HV2605, HV2705 and HV2706 represent the next generation in Supertex's industry-leading high voltage analog switches for medical ultrasound applications," states Stephen Lin, Vice President of Marketing for Supertex. "These highly integrated ICs utilize our proprietary HVCMOS technology to deliver high performance, high voltage analog switches that deliver very clear images at fast frame rates."
The HV2605, HV2705 and HV2706 are available in 48-lead LQFP packages (HV2605FG-G, HV2705FG-G and HV2703FG-G). The parts are RoHS compliant. Samples are available from stock. Lead-time for production quantities is 4-6 weeks ARO. Pricing is US$15.06 each for the HV2605FG-G, US$15.12 each for the HV2705FG-G and US$15.12 each for the HV2706FG-G, all in 1K quantities.
