Xirrus has announced the deployment of Xirrus high performance Wi-Fi Arrays at the City of Hurst state-of-the-art 50,000 square foot conference center located in the heart of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Just minutes from downtown Dallas and Fort Worth, the City of Hurst is coined “A Quality of Life City”, due to its variety of churches, excellent schools, well-maintained roads, quality recreational facilities and safe neighborhoods. Xirrus 802.11n Arrays provide high quality wireless access with unmatched coverage and reliability, and support the technologically advanced amenities offered at the Hurst Conference Center.
“We chose to install Xirrus Wi-Fi Arrays at our brand new conference center because we had deployed Xirrus in the past – we knew what we were getting into with the newly constructed building and we were confident we would get complete wireless coverage at a cost savings that would fit into our budget along with support for the many technologically advanced amenities being offered at the property,” said Sunny Patel, Assistant IS Manager for the City of Hurst. “Xirrus is our wireless standard and our vision is to enable Wi-Fi throughout the city, giving freedom to vendors and citizens to conduct business wherever and whenever they visit our facilities.”
Continuing, Sunny said, “We looked at several vendors when we decided to upgrade our antiquated Wi-Fi network – the Xirrus product shined far above the rest, not only on cost but also on the Arrays capabilities. After installing Xirrus we found the product just works - it’s a solid solution and we’ve never had an issue with it. With our previous solution we had so many antennas and AP’s scattered everywhere, yet still lacked coverage. With Xirrus we have far fewer devices to manage and a coverage that’s guaranteed.”
“From pre-sales to installation, our service and support from Xirrus has been phenomenal,” concluded Sunny. “We’ve had no headaches – the Xirrus Arrays were up and running in no time and we haven’t missed a beat since.”
