JMR Electronics Proudly Announces Sponsorship of RED Digital Cinema's Camp RED

JMR Electronics has announced their sponsorship of RED Digital Cinema's Camp RED, August 1st to the 20th, at RED Studios in Hollywood, CA.
During Camp RED's three one-week sessions kids ages 9-15 will be learning production and post-production from top professionals in the film and video industries. Campers will have the opportunity to turn their own original ideas into scripts, make short films, television shows, commercials and music videos. The kids will work with the same gear used on such films as, PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: ON STRANGER TIDES in 3D, THE AMAZING SPIDERMAN in 3D, THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO and Peter Jackson's upcoming feature THE HOBBIT. At the end of each week, campers will present their work to their family and friends at the Camp RED Film Festival in the RED 4K theater.

JMR will be providing four of their newest SilverStor 10-Bay solutions running Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Production Premium which includes Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects. Campers will utilize JMR's latest media storage solutions to store, render and playback all footage that they shoot with RED One and Epic cameras. JMR's BlueStor PCIe Extender will be powering the 4K projection of the campers finished projects in RED's 4K theater.
