The Marconi Federal exhibit at SC2004 includes first-ever public demonstration of multi-media video telephony over very wide area network -- Hawaii to Pittsburgh to Germany. Marconi Federal exhibits at SC2004 High Performance Computing, Networking and Storage Conference, showing how high-performance networking equipment enables:
-- Advanced communications applications, including network-centric defense
and intelligence missions;
-- Network-based, integrated electronic security solutions ranging from
enterprise-scale to national perimeter security and surveillance;
-- ViPr Virtual Presence System, advanced video telephony and
multimedia communications across a very wide area network (thousands of
miles between Hawaii, Pittsburgh, Washington, D.C. and Germany)
-- Wide-area storage and supercomputing clusters
