3DIcon Corporation Teams With University of Oklahoma for Holographic Research
3DIcon Corporation, a communications development company, today announced that it has engaged the University of Oklahoma to conduct a series of investigative studies to advance its pursuit of digital holographic technology. The program is expected to take six months. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed. Digital holography is a technology area that shows promise in three- dimensional imaging and visualization applications. The purpose of this study is to investigate the current state-of-the-art research and development activities taking place in the field of digital holography, particularly emerging technologies.
