Accedian Networks: World Premiere of Industry’s First ‘NIDeo’ on Carrier Ethernet Backhaul Hits the Internet
Accedian Networks released
the world premiere of its NIDeo—an animated video short depicting the complex
challenges facing telecom service providers offering mobile backhaul services
over Carrier Ethernet networks. Produced by Epipheo Studios, Accedian’s NIDeo
uses simple graphics and humorous, easy to understand storytelling scripting to
walk the viewer through leveraging the best of Carrier Ethernet to assure
backhaul services, monitor network performance, guarantee Service Level
Agreements (SLAs) and significantly reduce Operational Expenses (OPEX).
“The Accedian NIDeo is the
ideal vehicle to help us explain who we are, what we do and why it’s important
in a language that can be clearly understood by technical and non tech savvy
audiences alike,” said Craig Easley, VP of Marketing and Product Management at
Accedian Networks. “As a growing technology company, it’s important to simplify
our message so it can be easily digested by a community that goes well beyond
the technical engineers who work on the networks. We believe we’ve achieved
that with our world premier NIDeo.”
This unique approach of
delivering a simplified message to a technical market follows Accedian
Network’s successful consumer-oriented advertising campaign. The “Power of the
Pink Dress” campaign used a recognizable image to capture attention. The
company’s strategy with both the NIDeo and the ad campaign is to break free
from its industry’s typically highly technical, B-to-B advertising and
marketing to showcase its products and value-add in the industry. Read Light
